The rehearsal pianist is mostly required to ‘bash notes’, to play each groups line whilst they learn it and then the accompaniment . Good sight reading skills are a big help. The music itself is of varying standards, usually not too complicated , absolute perfection during rehearsals is not required, although a suitable standard for performances is !

What we require of you:

• Availability for rehearsals and performances. (Rehearsals suspended during July school holidays. Consideration given to previous arrangements or required absences. eg. exams, away work committments)

• Possible extra rehearsals near to performance, by mutual agreement.

• Season has started for 2010 – performances in November.
